Your Days Will Look Different
Some days you'll present to potential partners who could change everything. Other days you'll solve problems that don't have textbook answers. You'll build a team, shape a culture, and make decisions that matter.
You'll work with aerospace engineers who once worked on defense projects and now channel that expertise into passive cooling technology. You'll collaborate with humanitarians who measure success in lives improved, not just revenue generated. You'll join a team that names every single pod after someone important to our journey.
What You'll Actually Do
- Shape strategy — Figure out where we're going and how we'll get there. Not five-year plans gathering dust in a drawer, but real direction that adapts as we learn.
- Build relationships — Talk to potential clients, partners, investors, and collaborators. Listen more than you speak. Find the people who get what we're trying to do.
- Make decisions — The kind where there's no obvious right answer. Where you have to weigh impact against resources, speed against precision, vision against reality.
- Lead a team — Hire people better than you at things you're not great at. Create an environment where innovation happens naturally. Resolve the inevitable conflicts with grace.
- Manage resources — Know where every dollar goes and why. Prepare budgets that reflect priorities, not just predictions. Find creative ways to do more with less.
- Represent the mission — Speak publicly about why this work matters. Write when writing is needed. Show up when showing up matters.
- Navigate uncertainty — We're a pre-revenue startup disrupting an industry that hasn't changed in 50 years. You'll need to be comfortable when the path isn't clear.
What You'll Learn
If you haven't run a hardware startup before, you will. If you haven't navigated FDA regulations, you will. If you haven't built a lease-based business model from scratch, you will. We're not looking for someone who's already done everything—we're looking for someone who can figure out what they haven't done yet.

You'll work from Indiana IoT Labs in Fishers, Indiana. Yes, Indiana. Not Silicon Valley. Not New York. We're building something here that matters, surrounded by manufacturing expertise, aerospace talent, and Midwestern values.

In your first year, you'll have built a functioning business development pipeline, established our go-to-market strategy, and brought on our first paying clients. You'll have started building a team culture where people want to stay. You'll have made tough decisions that positioned us for sustainable growth.
In three years, you'll look back and see an organization that's delivering on its mission—getting critical shipments to where they're needed while creating opportunities for communities worldwide through our Lease One, Donate One model.
